The board has now chosen to suspend the process for leading the assessment in two terms. CBSE authorities had affirmed recently that the board would lead the test just once every year from the following scholastic year.
After this decision, CBSE examinations will not be conducted in two separate sessions. However, this arrangement will be started from the academic year 2022-23.
CBSE had conducted the examinations in two terms due to the Corona pandemic. Under which the Term 1 Exam 2022 was held in November-December, 2021. Whereas the Term 2 exam is scheduled for April-May, 2022.
CBSE has made some changes in the syllabus. Further cuts have been made for major subjects in the revised syllabus. As per CBSE Class 12 syllabus, the assessment scheme will consist of a theory, internal assessment or practical component for each subject as per the given syllabus. The board will conduct the annual examination for class 12th.
At the same time, as per the Board's Class 9 and 10 syllabus, the assessment scheme consists of Board Examination (Class 10th) and Annual Examination (Class 10th) in all subjects except the compulsory subjects to be assessed internally with a component of 20 marks for internal assessment. 9th) will have a component of 80 marks.
